Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan coming together in the desi version of Jerry Maguire!

Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan may just answer the prayers of millions of their fans, and aspiring film directors for that matter!

The superstars (and bosom friends) may finally feature together in a potboiler, which is a remake of the Tom Cruise starrer, Jerry Maguire (1996).

Interestingly, Salman's younger brother Sohail Khan was seen pitching the project to a major film studio, a few days back and B-town sources indicate that he has a ready, bound script of the Jerry Maguire remake.

Salman will essay the role of Cuba Gooding Junior (who won an Oscar for the Best Actor in a Supporting Role) and Sohail wants to cast Shah Rukh as the ambitious sports agent, played by Tom Cruise in the original.

Stay tuned in!

@c e e d y - I'm not sure, if Salman would be able to do full justice to the role originally played by Cuba Gooding Jr.

Cuba was just awesome in his role and I am doubtful, if Salman can actually pull off his act with all the aloofness, maturity, humor and antics performed by Cuba in Jerry Maguire!

As far as SRK is concerned, I'm thinking how would he say, "Show Me The Money" ;)

Yup! Even me eager to know who would be essaying renee's role...lets wait n watch!

Take care, bro :)

i agree with you - cuba gooding was excellant...

but i feel in india a popular hero can pull it...somehow liked salman work in partner (he still needs to learn to act :)

besides this the most important thing - which sport will they be seeking it for (IPL CRICKET)...that way SRK will get real life practice :)....
