Shah Rukh Khan appointed brand ambassador for Belmonte

S. Kumars Nationwide (SKNL) has appointed Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan as the brand ambassador for its new brand Belmonte.

Nitin Kasliwal, managing director & vice chairman, SKNL, said in Mumbai on Thursday: "Shah Rukh is the ideal choice for our youth-oriented brand as there are strong synergies between the brand DNA and his star persona."

"SKNL is well-known for creating salient style & fashion brands like Reid & Taylor and more recently Carmichael House,” SRK said, adding his association with Belmonte is to "inspire the youth to succeed on the world stage."


Belmonte is introducing apparel & fabrics under a single brand. The brand offers a total wardrobe solutions – formals, casuals and accessories to the globally aspiring Indian youth in the mid-price segment.

S Kumars has under its umbrella, a variety of brands and respective brand ambassadors from the Bollywood fraternity. Reid and Taylor has been associated with mega superstar Amitabh Bachchan , Tamarind is endorsed by Hrithik Roshan , and Sushmita Sen has been roped to promote Carmichael House for over six months now.

SRK himself was the brand ambassador for the Mayur brand of suitings from 1995 to 1998, a brand that recently appointed Salman Khan as their new ambassador.
