Is Emraan’s marriage on the rocks?

Emraan and Parveen had been going around for almost five years before they tied the knot.

The marriage hit troubled waters when Parveen - who is a school teacher - recently got to know about Emraan's close relationship with a Pakistani girl, Sanaa.

Parveen was particularly upset, when she learnt that Emraan and the new woman in his life had spent some private moments in Cape Town (where Emraan was shooting for his new movie).

Sanaa's parents called Emraan's uncle, Mahesh Bhatt and informed him about his nephew's secret liaison.

Mahesh intervened and summoned Emraan to his Juhu office one afternoon recently.

The filmmaker tried explaining to Emraan that he was not doing the right thing. The conversation, which started off as a discussion, gradually snowballed into a heated argument and then a big showdown.

According to a journalist at Times Of India, "Mahesh told Emraan to live a steady marital life and focus on his career. Mahesh was simply advising Emraan for his good but Emraan thought that he was interfering in his life.

We first tried calling Emraan but he did not respond to our calls. We then sent him a text message to confirm the chain of events, which have rocked his personal life.

Although Emraan did not give out any details about his tumultuous personal life, he didn't deny the news either. His reply read, "Don't f*** me man!"

We then contacted Mahesh Bhatt and he said, "I am hardly in a position to moralise. But it's true that I did tell Emraan to deal with the affair with sanity or bear the consequences."

Stay tuned in!

Awarapan's Music Video 'To Phir Aao' featuring DJ Suketu

Bhatts and Emraan have always got it right and Awarapan seems to be no exception.

The music of their keenly awaited Awarapan has just released and with Pritam as the music arranger for the tracks that have originally been composed by Pakistani artists, the music is fast catching up heat.

To take on the music stands heads on, team of Awarapan has now come up with a promotional music video of the track To Phir Aao which opens up the album. The track features Emraan in the look, which he carries in most part of Awarapan. Along with him, the stage is shared by singer/composer Mustafa, his band Roxen and DJ Suketu himself who remixes the number.

The video is completely different from any other promotional video seen so far as it comes with a rock setting and has nothing conventional about it, as has been the trend with most promotional videos.

This one truly ROCKS and is bound to add on to the numerous hits that Emraan already has to his name!

Now Raaz 2 with Emraan Hashmi

According to Taran Adarsh from IndiaFm, sequels and remakes are in! Bollywood is slowly waking up to this new trend thanks to the super-success of sequels and remakes in the recent past. Joining the bandwagon are the Bhatts [Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt], who are planning to start Raaz 2, the sequel to the immensely successful Raaz. While Vikram Bhatt had directed the original, Raaz 2 will be directed by Mohit Suri, who has directed Zeher, Kalyug and Woh Lamhe and has completed Awarapan for the Bhatts.

Well, here’s the latest on Raaz 2. Emraan Hashmi has been confirmed for the principal role in the sequel. “So far, only Emraan has been signed. We will be casting one more guy and two girls,” Mohit informs.

Will the actors of the original film [Dino Morea, Bipasha Basu] star in the sequel? “We haven’t spoken to them yet. Actually, we’ll take a call once we’re through with the script. The idea has been okayed, liked and approved. The next step is to work on the screenplay,” Mohit adds.

Raaz 2
will roll after Awarapan.

Bye-Bye Bachelorhood!

Teenage heartthrob Emraan Hashmi wed fiancée Parveen Shahani at an elaborate ceremony yesterday, Thursday, 14th December. The reception, held at a plush hotel in Bandra, Mumbai, was limited to the family members and close friends of the actor. Emraan’s father, the genial Anwar Hashmi, received each and every guest personally, while Maherah, the actor’s mother, ensured that the guests were most comfortable.

Emraan was dressed in black formals, while the bride looked resplendent in a pink outfit. Incidentally, Emraan is sporting a goatee these days and also growing his hair for the look in the Mohit Suri-directed AWARAPAN.

Television crews with the O.B. vans and the paparazzi that had gathered at the venue since the evening were politely told to stay away from the premises, since Emraan and Parveen wanted the marriage to be a private affair. In fact, the couple didn’t want their guests to feel suffocated with television cameras hounding and falling over each other to get that ‘exclusive byte’.

When this writer asked the groom how it feels to be married and bid goodbye to bachelorhood, the actor flashed a content smile and joked back, “My next job is to ensure that all my friends settle down in bliss. I have set the precedent and these guys [pointing towards Mohit Suri, Aaditya Datt] should follow suit.”

Emraan Hashmi to shed off boyish looks

According to popular concensus, a marriage definitely makes a man out of a boy. But, Bollywood's proverbial serial-kisser is trying hard to get a mature look for his personal as well as professional life. The actor who will be marrying his fiancée Parveen Shahani in mid December, wants to get in shape before the D day.

Emraan is sporting a moustache, an over-grown stubble and long streaks to look more mature. For his next film, Mahesh Bhatt's Awaarapan, he needs to get a serious look of a rugged and strong man. The actor usually looks a 20-something dude because of his plum face and short height. But, now he's been working long hours at the gym doing cardio-vascular exercises and following a balanced diet to get that lean and strong appearance.

Emraan will start shooting for Awaarapan early next year, after he's back from his honeymoon. Good luck to the groom!
