Shilpa-Shiney, the new-age combo

Shiney Ahuja & Shilpa ShettyIf the latest cover of CineBlitz is anything to go by, heartthrobs Shilpa Shetty and Shiney Ahuja sure seem to share great chemistry. While Shiney has done his first bare-chested look, Shilpa has worn an ultra-revealing backless dress for the first time. Their vibe is also apparent from the interviews in the mag. With such comfort levels, one can surely expect fireworks from their performance in Anurag Basu's Metro.

Their spokesperson Dale Bhagwagar says, "Shilpa has matured into a versatile actress over the years. But it's only now that people are sitting up and noticing her. As for Shiney, he's been a powerhouse performer right from Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi to Gangster to Woh Lamhe. The combination of these two talents could be quite an interesting watch."

Metro is due for release on May 11 with worldwide premieres to add to the glamour.

Known for playing intense and serious roles, Shiney Ahuja is now bracing up for thrills on the silver screen.

The handsome actor has reportedly been signed to play a biker in a forthcoming movie. Moreover, he will be riding the recently launched bike Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14, which arguably is the fastest bike in the world.

The film will have Shiney playing two different characters (double roles perhaps). One of the characters is a stuntman who does stunts for foreign actors and the other is a Grand Prix racer.

The latest Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14 has reportedly been imported from London for the film. Some alterations may be made in the bike’s colour to suit the film’s look. A trainer has also been called in from London to teach Shiney about the skill of riding the bike on race tracks.

Shiney, who is currently shooting for Priyadarshan’s movie 'Bhool Bhulaiya' , has already begun practicing in riding the bike in Jaipur. He drives to the shooting location of Priyan’s film on the bike everyday.

The movie will feature many race sequences to be shot on the race tracks in London.

Shiney Ahuja turns down Drona

Shiney AhujaShiney has walked out of Goldie Behl's film Drona, which is also to star Abhishek Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra. Kay Kay Menon will now play his role.

Shiney says that he has quit the film because he was offered a negative role and doesn't want to play a negative character. However, according to sources, the real reason for Shiney's refusal was the fear that he might be overshadowed in the film. Shiney learnt that Abhishek and Goldie were friends and therefore there are chances of Abhishek stealing all the focus and Shiney ending up as his sidekick. Shiney however, laughs it off and says that he had refused soon enough so that a new actor could be roped in.
