First Look: Himesh Reshammiya's Karzzzz

Time is ripe for music composer Himesh Reshammiya to take off his trademark cap!

After doffing his cap for just a few scenes in his successful acting debut Aap Ka Suroor, Himesh is now ready to let go of the cap completely. Reason, his hair-transplant has been done successfully and his baldness is gone.

So now Himesh will flaunt his long hair in his next film Karzzzz, a modern-day remake of Subhash Ghai's hit movie Karz.

Himesh's look for the movie has been designed by his sister Roopa. The composer has been given a makeover of a rockstar and about two-third of the film will have Himesh without his cap.

Produced by T-Series, the film will be directed by Satish Kaushik and Reshammiya himself will compose the tunes.

The shooting begins in January 2008.

Says an elated Himesh, “This will be first Hindi film album that has been permitted for release across the border. The album is my tribute to R D Burman, and boasts names like Asha Bhosle, Sunidhi Chauhan, and Shreya Ghosal."

Himesh's lead actress is child artiste Hansika Motwani

The image “http://www.teluguone.com/cinema/wallpapers/hansikamotwani/280hansikamotwani8.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.
This is the most shocking disclosure about Himesh's upcoming film Aap Ka Surroor. The lead actress opposite Himesh in the film is none other than child artiste Hansika Motwani. Hansika is the same girl who was seen in the film Jaago starring Raveena Tandon and Manoj Bajpai, where Hansika played a 10 yr old girl who gets raped in train. She was also child artiste in films like Hum Kaun Hai, Hawa and Escape From Taliban. She was also seen in the famous television soap, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.

However, her most notable film is Hrithik Roshan starrer Koi Mil Gaya in which Hansika played one of the kids from the super-six group. Her last film as a child artiste was Dheeraj Kumar's Aabra Ka Daabra which came out in December 2004.

Within a span of just two years, Hansika made her comeback in films but as a lead actress. Early this year, she made her debut in a Telugu film Desamuduru. And now, Hansika will soon make her Bollywood debut with Himesh Reshammiya in Aap Ka Surroor. She is however publicized as a debutant actress named Ria.

Its quite shocking though that within less than three years, Hansika's looks became so mature. Interestingly, Hansika was to make her debut opposite Mithun Chakravarthy's son Mimoh in He - The Only One but the film was 60 percent shot and then got stuck.

So, now you will see, Hansika Motwani, the cute looking child artiste of one time, playing the lead actress opposite Himesh!! The weird part however is that Hansika is just 15 year old and Himesh is……well, we better keep our mouth shut. Hope the two click onscreen though as Aap Ka Surroor will be a crucial film for Ria aka Hansika and will also decide if Himesh should face the camera or continue with his work in the recording studio.

Himesh feels euphoric

http://www.newasiatimes.com/news_images/Himesh-Reshammiya.jpg
The countdown has begun! Himesh Reshammiya's first film as an actor, AAP KA SURROOR, is all set to hit the screens in June this year. The film was extensively shot in Germany and while you're reading this news-piece, Himesh has flown to Bangkok to participate in the penultimate 22-day shooting schedule of the film.

The promotion of AKS has kick-started and Himesh is extremely pleased by the feedback from his fans. “The reaction is splendid. People have liked the promos immensely. I don't wish to tom-tom about myself since that would look weird, but it gladdens my heart to know that people are liking the promos,” Himesh informs.

There're seven songs in all in AKS and Himesh has decided to promote the songs systematically before the film hits the marquee. The remix version of the songs as also the talkie promos will dominate the tube as the release date draws closer.

If that's not enough, Himesh and AKS director Prashant Chaddha have decided to shoot two endings for the film. The 'happy' ending will have Himesh uniting with his love-interest, while the 'sad' will have the lovers drifting apart. “I am not revealing the climax right now. That's for the audience to find out,” he smiles.

AKS is confirmed for 29th June release. It's no ordinary date since three more films are also slated for release on this Friday -- APNE [Dharmendra, Sunny, Bobby Deol], CASH [Ajay Devgan, Suniel Shetty, Zayed Khan, Ritesh Deshmukh] and AWARAPAN [Emraan Hashmi].

AAP KA SURROOR will be complete after the Bangkok schedule. Besides shooting for the film in the capital of Thailand, Himesh will also be dubbing crucial portions of the film in Bangkok.
