Dino Morea to produce a period film

Actor turned Producer Dino Morea is all set to produce two films this year. One of the two films is a period film called John Mohammed Ali Master. His other film will be an action-thriller, which he is planning to start first.

According to Dino, John Mohammed Ali Master is set in the pre-independence era. Also it has lots of facts with a touch of fiction. Dino's friend, filmmaker Shameem Desai will be directing it and he has already registered the title. He also informs that the film will very stylized and be based on a fictional character.

Apart from that he is also planning to come up with a reality show on the small screen as well. Dino is currently working on Anant Mahadevan's Anamika, Apoorva Lakhia's Sex on the Beach, a ten minute film in Dus Kahaniyaan and Pavan Kaul's Bhram.

Now Dino Morea Lip Locks On Screen

Dino Morea is all set to take over the mantle of the Best Kisser in Bollywood from Emraan Hashmi.

Insiders who have seen the rushes of the film 'BHRAM' swear that the lip lock between Dino & Supermodel turned actress Sheetal Menon is the most passionate scene ever shot in Bollywood.

Though it will be Dino's first on-screen kiss, Dino like a true blue Italian Casanova has carried it off exceptionally. The director has shot the passion play between the two beautiful people very aesthetically.

According to sources present at the shoot, though Dino was initially nervous because of his first on-screen kiss, when he started off, it turned out to be the most passionate kiss. Also, both Dino & Sheetal with their supermodel background shared a certain comfort level with each other during the shoot.

In fact it is also being reported that the chemistry between them would overshadow even Keira Knightley & Johnny Depp's kiss in 'Pirates of the Caribbean'. As the source added, "In 'BHRAM' the kiss is with a twist in the tale, which is great." When teased by the unit, Dino was at his enigmatic best. But if ever a book on best Bollywood kisses is written, Dino's act would certainly find a notable mention.

Dino Morea gets Youth Icon of 2007

Dino Morea has been honoured with the Youth Icon of the Year 2007 award by the GRD School of Commerce and International Business in Coimbatore yesterday. The event called ‘Face 2 Face’ had Dino Morea as the guest speaker, who addressed with post grad students of Business studies.

Dino doesn’t have any connections in the film industry, yet he himself built his career starting from modeling to entering the film industry and establishing himself as a known actor. At the event, he spoke on the variety of issues ranging from the film industry, his cafes and career as an entrepreneur, about India and Globalization.

After this event, he came back to Mumbai and went for a special Valentines Day event organized by Cancer Association. Dino along with Esha Deol, who is his co-star in the film Phir, spent the evening with Cancer affected patients to make their Valentine’s Day special. Says Dino “It is important to help people and support such social causes. It is one’s presence and the time spent with the patients that make them happy”.

'I don't mind being an object of fantasy'

Actor Dino Morea confesses that he doesn't have any inhibitions about showing off his sex appeal and that he has no qualms about stripping either.

"But with a reason. I won't just take off my clothes for the heck of it. In 'Raaz' I took off my shirt and had my chest being pawed," Dino told.

In fact, a year back he did a photo-session in a wet sarong in Goa that ranks as the most explicit ever by a male Bollywood actor. Dino is game for more of the same.

"I'm aware that photo shoot went a little further than I had thought. But it was aesthetically done. Moreover, fans like to see that kind of thing. I don't mind being their object of fantasy at all," said Dino

The ebullient actor, who's turned 32, has no inhibitions about being a gay icon.

"Male or female, it's flattering to be fodder for fantasy. Any celebrity who claims otherwise is lying. I love the thought of people out there getting turned on by me. Isn't providing pleasure the No.1 objective of an entertainer?" asked Dino.

At the end of the day, Dino is a family man. To prove it, he headed home to Bangalore to be with his mom and dad for his birthday.

"There's no pleasure greater than family. In any case, birthdays are a bit of an anti-climax for me. I don't enjoy them. The cakes and candles are not my scene. Nor do I like to party on my birthday. I just like to be with my folks."

Did he make any birthday wishes?

"Yes I want my production house to get going as soon as possible. The director and script are in place. Now I'm casting. I want big names."

Dino's brother Santino, however, won't be in the first home production.

"But he's getting ready for the big bang. He has lost plenty of weight and is looking like a million bucks. I think I'll soon have stiff competition at home."

Any marriage plans?

"I'm only 32. Why do I need to get married?

Dino, who forayed into filmdom with "Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi", has featured in films like "Tom Dick And Harry", "Fight Club", "Holiday" and "Aksar" in 2006.
