Tharun Kumar, director of Nayee Padosan, is all set to make the sequel of the film and has titled it Nayee Padosan 2. Following the bandwagon of sequels, the producer and director of this film has come up with an interesting idea of talent hunt.

Talking about the same, director Tharun says, “We wanted to a new face for this film therefore our writer Ikram Akhtar suggested to have a talent hunt. The response is quite exciting and we will reveal the new face soon.”

Except Anuj Sawhney and Mehek, the rest of the cast will be the same. Speaking about the film he says, “It is much more hilarious than the Nayee Padosan. This will be a comedy film and the shoot will begin from next month onwards.” The film is being produced by Rajkumar Chaudhary. The music has been composed by Lalit Sen.

When asked about the sequel he says, “I had a brief idea of making a sequel of the film. It was already planned long time back but I was working on two other films of mine, Kash…Mere Hote and Raffoo Chakkar. And now when I have done with both these films, I will start with Nayee Padosan 2 film.”

Nayee Padosan 2 stars Rahul Bhatt, Aslam Khan, Vikas Kalantri and along with two new actors. Vikas Kalantri, who is in one of the leads says, “This film starts from where we left our first part. The star cast is same as this is a sequel. Except Anuj Swahney and Mehek, the cast remains the same, the reason being, they got married in the last part.”

Speaking about his character in Nayee Padosan 2 he says, “I am playing the same guy from Chandigarh who had come to become an actor. Now, he has gone back to Chandigarh and is driving tractor. It is an extension of my previous role. The story is totally different. I have that Punjabi look again but he doesn’t want to become an actor anymore and fight for the girl.”

Apart from Nayee Padosan 2, Vikas Kalantri will be seen in Abbas Mastan’s Naquab which is a suspense drama. He also stars in Anant Mahadevan’s Agar and a cross-over Hollywood film called Gandhi Park.
