Shilpa Shetty in Australian version of Big Brother

Bollywood babe Shilpa Shetty is going back into the Big Brother house – but this time Down Under. She will join a gang of bizarre Bruces and shocking Sheilas in the Aussie version of the hit reality show.

She is flying to Australia next month to promote her new film Metro and programme bosses would like to involve her. A spokesman for Australia's Channel Ten said: "We are trying to work out just how long she can spend in the house." The show's executive producer Tim Toni said: "You have got to throw in a few hand grenades!"

He said he hoped her inclusion would "liven up" the house.
