/photo.cms?msid=826348 The legends of rock - Deep Purple – are all set to perform in Bangalore on Sunday (December 17). The band is in India for their fourth stance and the feelings' just getting better with time.

They have been on the music scene for nearly four decades and are revered as demi-gods by hard rock fans the world over. Deep Purple, the legendary band, are all set to rock Bangalore - their fourth visit to India.

"There are a lot of Indian influences. The first time we came to India, it was mind-blowing to see how many people were into Deep Purple,” said Roger Glover, the band’s bassist.

From ”The Winds of Change” to “The Rapture of the Deep”, there've been more hits on their records than misses. The gang featuring Ian Gillan, Steve Morse, Roger Glover, Ian Paice and Don Airey seems to be just getting better with time.

"Everyone in the band brings their history or music. It has been a solid line-up for quite a few years now. We're feeling very good," said vocalist Ian Gillan.

For fans in Bangalore, Sunday will be an unforgettable night, as they stand in audience to one of history's most prolific, longest-lived, and hardest touring rock bands.
