'Kabul Express' all set to release

/photo.cms?msid=803287 Another eagerly awaited film, Kabul Express from the Yash Raj camp is all set for release.

The film is a thriller set in the barren lands of Afghanistan. 'KABUL EXPRESS' depicts the picture of post 9/11 war torn Afhganistan. The film portrays the lives of five strangers belonging to different nationalities brought together by fate in the dreaded land of the Talibans.

This is the first film to be shot entirely in the region. It gives a true to life account of the situation prevalent, a very concious step by the director who shed his inhibitions to take a plunge forward and give the audience some facts about the terror stricken country.

Debutant director Kabir Khan says, "Ultimately, the film is all about breaking the stereotypes." Protagonist John Abraham says, "I got very exited when I heard about concept of the film. And I was very eager to visit Afganistan, though there were risks involved in it."

A thriller spanning 48 hours in the lives of these actors and shot in the forbidden land definitely looks like a sure shot crowd puller. As the film hits theatres this week, the Afghan effect might just be successful in ruling the box office.
