Actor Salman Khan is in trouble once again. Deputy police commissioner (crime) Dhananjay Kamlakar told TIMES NOW that Salman had been questioned at an undisclosed location in a case involving Bollywood's alleged nexus with underworld.

The police did not want the actor to visit the crime branch office in South Mumbai to avoid commotion due to the star’s appearance.

Salman was quizzed by the police on the basis of confessions made by Chhota Shakeel henchman Anjum Adam Fazlani.

In his statement to the police, Fazlani had confessed meeting Salman and making him an offer to act in the Naseem Rizvi produced film 'Chori Chori Chupke Chupke' which also starred Rani Mukerji and Priety Zinta.

It's been reported that Fazlani also told the police that it was after making several threats to Salman using Shakeel's name that the actor reduced his fee to star in the movie.

Film producer Naseem Rizvi and financer Bharat Shah have also been convicted in the same case for having links with the underworld.

Salman will be leaving for South Africa tonight, but police are not ruling out a second round of questioning once he is back.
