Dutt in Big B's shoes in Satte pe Satta
Sanjay Dutt has left controversies behind and is all set to step into Big B’s shoes in Raj N Sippy's Seven -- remake of 1982 comic thriller, Satte Pe Satta.
Satte Pe Satta a rip off of the Hollywood comedy, Seven Brides For Seven Brothers (1954), was a super hit which saw Bachchan playing a double role in the film.
"I am remaking my own film before anyone else tries to do that. It would be called Seven. The basic story idea will remain the same with Sanjay Dutt playing Bachchan's double role. Instead of seven brothers the film will have five brothers and two sisters," director Raj Sippy was quoted as saying by a TV channel.
Dutt, who got a breather from TADA earlier last month, has been taking up more film projects. After playing the robe of adorable Munna Bhai, Dutt seems to have shed his action-hero image behind forever to settle for a more subtle image in Bollywood.
"Sanju gave a super hit, Thanedaar and its song Tamma Tamma was a national rage then. I cannot think of anyone else perfectly fitting the lead role of my remake," adds Sippy.
