Following in the footsteps of ‘Mughal-e-Azam’, the 1964 classic ‘Haqeeqat’ is going to be re-released in colour. ‘Haqeeqat’, with great performances by Balraj Sahni, Dharmendra and Priya Rajvansh, was written and directed by Chetan Anand.

Haqeeqat’ depicted the true story of few Indian soldiers who fought the Indo-China war in 1962. Anand had launched Priya Rajvansh through this movie and later on, she became his girlfriend and remained so till his death. Ketan Anand, Chetan Anand’s son is planning the re-release by the end of this year.

He says, “It’s a great movie, and I want the present generation to be able to watch it. The film has some great performances. Colouring will take a while, so we will be able to release only by the end of this year,” he says.
