Malaika plays superwoman in Om Shanti Om

If you thought Malaika Arora Khan has vanished from the silver screen, well you are wrong. She is all set to appear in Farah Khan’s next venture Om Shanti Om. Malaika was approached by Shah Rukh’s Red Chillies Entertainment which is producing this film.

In the film, Malaika plays a superwoman clad in red gown and flying off rooftops. Her character is sweet and funny and something she hasn’t ever done before. The interesting part is that Malaika acted in the film for free. She says that she did the part for Farah Khan who is a dear friend. But Farah and Shah Rukh surprised Malaika by sending her a gift hamper of cards, flowers, a Tag Heuer watch and cell phone.

Malaika and her hubby Arbaaz Khan also shot for KBC 3 with Shah Rukh Khan. They won Rs. 12.50 lakhs on the game show which the two donated to St Anthony’s Home For The Aged in Bandra.
