Stalwarts Naseeruddin Shah and Anupam Kher and talented actors Jimmy Shergill and Rajpal Yadav are slated to star in a joint venture by Anjum Rizvi Film Co. & Friday Filmworks titled WEDNESDAY. The film is slated to go on floors in the first week of April 2007 and the remaining cast is still under finalization. The film is written and directed by Neeraj Pandey and produced by Anjum Rizvi with Shital Bhatia coming in as the co-producer.
Producer Anjum Rizvi has previously produced films like CHARAS and AHISTA AHISTA.
Set on a particular Wednesday this drama is placed almost in real time. The story takes place between 2 pm and 5 pm on a Wednesday in the enigmatic city of Mumbai.
