It was undoubtedly Bollywood's most talked about wedding, and now that festivities are over the new Mr and Mrs Bachchan arrived in Tirupathi early this morning (April 22) to seek the Lord's blessings.

The newlyweds sought the blessings of Lord Venkateshwara at the famous hill shrine at Tirumala. The Bollywood stars who entered wedlock on Friday, were in the sanctum sanctorum for about ten minutes. Abhishek's father Amitabh Bachchan, mother Jaya Bachchan, noted industrialist Anil Ambani and his wife Tina accompanied the couple.

During their stay at the sanctum sanctorum from 9:40 am to 9:50 am, the priests chanted prayers and offered them the celestial ghee lamp 'arathi'. Abhishek and Aishwarya also made some cash offerings in the Hundi (offering Box) situated at Dwarapalas Mandapam close to the sanctum sanctorium.

Tight security arrangements were also made at three palatial guest houses for the visitors inside the temple premises and the media is not being allowed in. Ahead of his son Abhishek's marriage, Amitabh Bachchan accompanied by Anil Ambani and Amar Singh had offered prayers at the hill temple last Sunday. The trio also offered Rs 51 lakh each to the temple.

According to sources, next, the newly wed couple will be traveling to Europe soon, on their honeymoon.
