Now, a film on the life of Aishwarya
Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai, who will tie the knot with Abhishek Bachchan today, has inspired a film director-Shakeel S Saifee- to make a film on her life.
Speaking to media reporters on the sets of the film, Shakeel said making a film on Ash was his way of wishing her on her wedding. 'Ash is a role model to aspiring female artistes, who wish to make it big in Bollywood. She has proved that women in celluloid world can make it big by their sheer talent," he said.
The film will dwelve on Ash's success as a model, winning the Miss World title, making it big in Bollywood, which will also include the Salman Khan, Vivek Oberoi episodes in her life and finally her marriage.
In the film, the character of Ash is called Mahi. "Her screen name is Aishwarya. She is a top actress. The character who plays Abhishek Bachchan is not an actor but a wealthy businessman. Salman Khan is called Max in the film, who is a painter. Vivek Oberoi is the villain. He is a collegian, who aspires to be an actor," Shakeel said.
The mahurat shot of Aishwarya Rai My Ideal was taken on Ashwini Kale, playing role of Aishwarya Rai, Arun Sikarwar as Abhishek, and Akshar Sanjay, enacting role of Salman. It was a wedding scene of Aishwarya and Abhishek, while Salman looks on. Director Shakeel Saifee says 'this is not a real story but yet it is inspired by Aishwarya Rai's life".
Shakeel said he will release the film in August. He also plans to hold special programme of organising marriages of poor boys and girls every year on April 20 to mark Ash's wedding anniversary.
