Celebrated film-maker Francis Ford Coppola, who’s often inspired Bollywood films, will soon be in Mumbai. And guess who’s responsible for this coup of sorts? Showman Subhash Ghai, who has convinced Coppola to give a guest lecture to the students of the former’s acting school Whistling Woods.

While confirming the news, Ghai says, “Yes, we are in talks with Coppola to visit our school. It will be indeed a great honour to have him come here. While he has agreed to come, we are yet to work out the dates convenient for him.”

The 68-year-old Italian film-maker, known best for his Oscar award-winning Godfather movies, is expected to be in Mumbai at least for a week.
