Sai Paranjpe to direct a film after six years

After a long gap of six years the prominent filmmaker and Padma Bhushan recipient Sai Paranjpe will be starting her next film. Her last film called Bhago Bhoot in 2001 was an educative film for children.

Reportedly, with its final draft near completion her next film will go on floors in June/July 2007. The film’s main protagonist is being played by none other than Deepti Naval. The duo will be coming together to make a film after almost 21 years.

According to Deepti, the film is a fun filled thriller and the audience will definitely get to see the flavour of Sai’s fascinating films like Chasmee Baddoor, Mirch Masala and Katha .
