Saif turns painter

It's raining painters in Bollywood and actor Saif Ali Khan is the latest celebrity to join the bandwagon of amateur painters.

The superstar turned painter for NGO Khushii's initiative for underprivileged kids - 'Indian on Canvas II', along with renowned artist Nikhil Chaganlal. Incidentally, Nikhil happens to be one of Saif's favourite artists and the star already owns three of his paintings.

"My mother is involved with Khushii and she inspired me to contribute towards the cause," says Saif. "It was a great experience to put together a painting that depicts mine and Nikhil's perception of a beautiful house."

The painting consisted of Persian carpets, purple walls, couch fireplace, old bookshelf, photo frames and tinted windows.
