A.R. Rahman's Jana Gana Mana released


Excited citizens of Chennai saw the release of Rahman's new album, Jana Gana Mana, a compilation of the country's national anthem sung by an array of eminent singers.

The album was released in Sathyam Cinemas as part of the celebration of the country's 60th year of independence. It was also promoted at Music World, Spencers Plaza, Chennai.

The CD version has 35 music tracks sung by Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhonsle, Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, Hariharan, S.P. Balasubramaniam, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Amaan Ali Bangash and Uma Shankar for which Rahman has composed the music.


Bharatbala Productions are the producers of Jana Gana Mana.
