Om Puri in Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron sequel

Veteran actor Om Puri is upbeat.

His desire for a sequel to the 1983 hit Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron , one of his most popular films of all times, seems to be getting fulfilled.

"Kundan Shah, who directed Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron 24 years ago, is going to do a sequel. We're all very excited about it," said Puri admitting at the same time that it wouldn't be an easy task.

"Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron remains a cult comedy and recreating the film's ambience would be tough."
