Shilpa Shetty to launch own perfume
When the Celebrity Big Brother race row erupted, Jade's perfume Ssh... was removed from the shelves by many high street chains, and now Shilpa has created S2 (S squared) to take its place.
Perfume creator Mark Earnshaw said: "It's called S2 because her initials are S.S. Shilpa worked with us on the perfume and it contains all the notes that she's grown up loving. She chose the final fragrance and she was very happy with it.
The box is going to be like Shilpa. It is very classic and modern on the outside and the inside is leopard print. Because there are two sides to Shilpa, on the outside she is very cool but she also has a very different, deeper side. It's got jasmine and musk but also fruit scents in it so it reflects her Indian heritage and will also appeal to the modern European market."
Shilpa wore the perfume to the premiere of her latest movie Metro on Tuesday night in London.
