Amitabh at Lilavati hospital again

Actor Amitabh Bachchan was at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai again on Friday evening. But this time around, it was not for a medical check up.

The actor was at the hospital to inaugurate a free corrective surgery camp for children, that will run over the weekend. The camp has been held annually for the past six years in different hospitals in Mumbai.

"I am normally brought to this hospital on a stretcher or while visiting friends or family for treatment. This is a unique occasion," Bachchan said.

Bachchan was accompanied by Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh and former Miss World Diana Hayden.

The actor had on November 30, 2006, undergone a successful surgery for diverticulitis of small intestine at the hospital.
