Bollywood dazzles at Cannes

When we talk of the Cannes Film Festival how can Bollywood be left behind? This time also, many of our stars were there to be a part of it.

Aishwarya Rai has been a part of this festival for quite sometime now. But this time, it was different as she walked down the red carpet as Mrs Aishwarya Bachchan along with hubby Abhishek.

While this couple left right away, Bipasha Basu was there with John Abraham to promote their upcoming flick Goal. She stuck to being traditional and wore a silver-coloured saree. But she cannot get over the fact that she could not meet her heartthrob - Hollywood star Jude Law, even though he was there. "The worst blow was that I missed meeting Jude Law. John met him at a party hosted by a sportswear company for another film based on football at the festival, and I couldn't attend the party,"she complains.

But it seemed that Irrfan Khan turned out to be the luckiest as he attended the premier of his film A Mighty Heart and got to walk down the red carpet with Angelina Jolie, amongst others.

Many actors and directors come there to promote their films or a brand at the festival and the bubbly Preity Zinta was one of them. She walked down the red carpet to promote a brand and she made a pretty picture in a flowing lime-hued gown.
