Mallika's New Year fiasco

Mallika Sherawat's much hyped New Year bash at J W Marriott’s ‘Jewel 2007’ party in Mumbai was a success but with barely any Mallika.

After six months of planning the extravaganza, ‘Jewel 2007’ had a 45-minute performance by Mallika Sherawat. However, in a lacklustre -- barely 10 minute performance -- Mallika seemed distracted and un-coordinated.

Dressed in diamond encrusted nude-toned outfit, Mallika was not her exuberant self and was apparently miffed with the media presence and the cameras aimed at her.

However, luckily for Mallika, the party goers didn't seem to notice her absence and the revelry went on till the wee hours today (Jan 1)

Reportedly, Mallika was a paid a whopping amount of about 50 lakhs for a 45 minute performance!
